For a stay of less than 30 days in Bali, a passport is enough to enter the country. For more than 30 days, you need to apply for a tourist visa that you can get from the Indonesian Embassy for about 40€.
How to get to Bali ?
Bali Island has an international airport, located in Denpasar. It is served by many airlines such as Emirates, Qatar , Etihad Airways or KLM and Air France. It is not possible to find a direct flight from Europe. It will take between 18h and 23h of travel, depending on your stopover and your airline.
What is the time difference with Bali ?
In summer, there is 6 hours difference between France or Germany and Bali and 7 hours in winter. For London, it’s 7 hours in summer and 8 hours in winter.
When to go to Bali ?
Bali can be visited throughout the year because the climate is tropical and temperatures are high all year round. The high season is between May and October because it is the dry season. The two months to avoid are December and January.
